Botanic gardens, just near the north terrace entrance under and around those undercover benches
1pm, till you get bored
Bring and eat to share if you can

Hey guys, sorry about the inactivity over the last couple of weeks (though I did say id be a dodgy admin ) just haven't really had the motivation/been bored enough to come on deviantART what with life happening and such. Anyway, It looks like the weather on Saturday is going to be absolutely terrible, and all of the dry places are probably going to be taken by ANZAC day stuff, so unless there is considerable uproar and anger I am postponing the devMeet until the Saturday after, The second of May. It will still be held at the Botanic gardens, the shelter/rotunda just inside the north terrace entrance, and will still be at 1pm.

Sorry about the late change, but there you go....

We have several entries into the contest and I hope to see some more before the end of the Month. Check the previous Journal for details

Also, send in new submissions too! for now I will just fave them and mention them in the journal (I have received a sum total of 1 since I've become admin.....)so they will come up in the faves gallery unless anyone wants to help with the admin work. Also note me with anyone you think deserves a feature for extra-specialness

DevMeet

Bring a plate of food to share, also if anyone has sticker tags or similar and a texta it would be great so that we can make name tags with our names and Deviant names on them to make life easier.

EDIT Right, well despite the complaining until now nobody has come up with a viable alternative to elder park or the memorial gardens. But we have a saviour of sorts has suggested that instead we meet in the botanical gardens, at the rotunda thing just near the north terrace entrance. if there are no complaints the venue will be changed to there. END EDIT

It will be held on ANZAC day(April 25th)

Just a bit of housecleaning, if anyone is up for doing submissions, that is submitting the work other people do as AdelaideDeviants and linking back to them please tell me and we can work something out. If I get someone who is willing we will be able to go back to the standard submissions system but until then I do not have enough time to do it myself.

Now for the big thing, The Contest

We will have a contest running throughout April and it will (possibly) become a monthly thing. The theme for April's contest is Optimism. Submissions can be any medium but only one submission per person please. To enter the contest simply send us a note linking to it with the title CONTEST
Entries will close at 12pm April 30th Adelaide time. (GMT +9:30)

We are still looking for 2 more judges to preside over the contest as well as anyone who is willing to donate a sub or a feature to the winners

So far we just have the one entry, but are looking forwards too seeing some more.
